The third Nordic-Baltic Creativity Forum 'Creative Self-Expression' will look for and present creative forms of expression in words, music, movement, dance, art and drama that can be used in everyday study work, communication and cooperation.

The Nordic Council of Ministers for Education and Research strategy names the Nordic school system as one of the strong supporting pillars of society that must be developed by giving priority to children and young people. A high-quality and inclusive school supports the well-being and values of every individual and society. This is why the Nordic Council of Ministers wants to support initiatives that improve the knowledge of education professionals and allow for the more efficient use of resources. It's necessary to develop creativity, innovation and enterprise in schoolwork from pre-school to university in order to contribute to quality and equality in education, work and health.

In international cooperation, the Nordic countries place the greatest emphasis on working with the European Union and their close neighbours, including the Baltic States, to contribute together to sustainable and homogenous development in the Baltic Sea region.

Target group
The forum is aimed at teachers, heads of schools and all education professionals in the Baltic and Nordic countries who want to use creativity to make learning more fun, awaken and support creativity in children, find creative abilities in themselves and use these abilities.
