How can the needs and expectations of manufacturers be effectively aligned with the skills provided by the professionals of the creative sector? To find an answer to this question the MELT Forum will take place on May 30 in Kultuurikatel in Tallinn – the second of its kind and this time entitled “More momentum for business? Have you thought about it creatively?” The purpose of MELT is to make manufacturers and designers speak the same language in order to understand one another better and to cooperate purposefully.

MELT will bring together high-level speakers both from Estonia and abroad. Nordic experience is shared by one of the main speakers, Henkka Hyppönen, an entrepreneur and creative director of +1 Agency, TV programme host and writer.

The MELT Forum is brought forth through the cooperation of manufacturing and creative associations. The industrial and creative sectors have come to understand common challenges and possibilities better and better and know how to achieve better results together. The problems to be discussed and the speakers have been chosen so as to bring maximum benefit to both sectors.

The key topics to be addressed at the MELT Forum 2017 will be the following: product development, export, sales, marketing and innovation. The event will bring together creative and manufacturing undertakings so these two can acknowledge the possibilities to maintain and improve their market position with the help of cooperation, including in the context of international competitiveness.

The forum welcomes undertakings that need ideas and people to valorise their products or services.

MELT is organised by Tallinn Business Incubators along with the City Enterprise Department, Tallinn Creative Hub, Estonian Design Centre, Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Creative Estonia and the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Estonia.
