Apply now for Nordic-Baltic business cooperation support – deadline 30 September

Monday, 25 August 2014

Application round for support from the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Business and Industry for study trips, work placements and network meetings is now open, with a deadline for submissions of 30 September. The support covers travel and accommodation costs and daily allowances to up to 70% of the project budget.

The Mobility Programme is designed to support innovation and cooperation between small and medium-sized companies and business organisations from the Nordic countries and Baltic States. A minimum of three countries must be involved in a project in order for it to be granted support, at least one of which must be a Nordic country and another a Baltic State. Please note that, applying from Estonia, the costs of visiting another Baltic State would not be covered, but those for visiting two Nordic countries would be.

The annual budget of the programme is 300,000 euros, to which all three Baltic States and the Nordic Council of Ministers contribute. The objective of the support is to boost the global competitiveness of the NB8 countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.

The application process is conducted online and is very simple: simply go to www.nb8grants.org. Project managers should register themselves as users before reviewing the application guidelines and taking a look at the application forms. After that, they can start filling in the forms. Applications are considered to have been submitted once they have been properly filled in and confirmed by the project manager (by 30 September at the latest). Incomplete applications and applications that have not been confirmed will not be processed.

The secretariat of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Business and Industry is situated in the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia, in Rīga. Any questions you have about applying will be answered in Estonia by Grete Kodi, an adviser with the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia, on +372 627 3101 or by e-mailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
