You need to take a vacation to gather strength from the sun, the warmth and your loved ones. Vacation goes very well with Nordic values, according to which work and free time should be balanced. In addition, cultural pleasures (a good book, movie, theatre or dance performance, etc.), fresh food full of vitamins and exercise.

From 11 July to 1 August our offices in Tallinn, Tartu and Narva are closed for vacation.

If you happen to be in the Nordic countries in summer and want to experience the spirit of the Nordics, then we recommend enjoying extraordinary and diverse Nordic music at the following festivals: G! Festival on the Faroe Islands (14 to 16 July), Øya Festival in Oslo (9 to 13 August), Way Out West in Gothenburg (11 to 13 August), and the Flow Festival in Helsinki (12 to 14 August). You can read more about the festivals and performers on the Nordic Playlist website.

People in the Nordic countries also use the summer for debates. Like the Arvamusfestival (Festival of Opinion Culture) in Estonia, there are political festivals in Finland (SuomiAreena, 11 to 15 July), Norway (Arendaluka, 15 to 20 August) and Iceland (Folkemøtet, 2 to 3 September).

For the first time, we will participate in the Arvamusfestival this year, which takes place following the example of Almedalsveckan, the oldest and largest political debate festival in the Nordic countries, which was held at the beginning of July in Gotland, Sweden. We will discuss whether and why people in the Nordic countries feel so happy according to studies and opinion surveys.

We wish you a beautiful summer and see you again in August!
