September marks a milestone in the cooperation on creative industries between the Nordics and Estonia. October 5-6th, Creative Business Solutions eGovernance competition takes place in Tallinn, being pre-event for global entrepreneurship competition Creative Business Cup held in Copenhagen. The finals of Creative Business Solutions are to be held on October 6th 2017 during the Ministerial e-Government Conference that is held in the framework of Estonian EU Presidency in Tallinn, Estonia. The winning teams of Creative Entrepreneurship Academy and Garage48 eGovernance hackathon (held in May in Tallinn), PSII and Smart Mobility have cleared the road to CBS finals, having, hence, a chance to participate in the Creative Business Cup global finals in Denmark.

Creative Business Solutions in Estonia is organised by Creative Estonia. The proposition to bring the pre-event of global business competition to Estonia came from Denmark, where CBC is organised and supported by the state. „Entrusting Estonia to organise Creative Business Solutions eGovernance is highly welcomed recognition to our e-image. We are proud of our achievments: 5 days saved each year by signing documents digitally, it takes 3 minutes to file taxes and 3 hours to start a company and 18,000+ e-residents. But in a such a rapidly developing area you cannot stand still. We want you to be part of our success! Sky is the limit so write down your creative innovative idea for the next groundbreaking e-service to make all of our lives better and submit it to CBC eGovernance Solution!“ said Eva Leemet, head of Creative Estonia.

Start-ups from all over Europe are welcomed to participate if their idea for the e-service is innovative, scalable, could be used in the public sector, involves service design principles and belongs to the team. To participate, start-ups need to register their ideas and teams before Sept 5th 2017. More information on Creative Estonia web page.
