For the second time, festivals were in the spotlight and we examined again how a major festival was born – the ups and downs of a festival, and means for successful management. This time the issue was dissected by Jyrki Kangas, who is one of the founding fathers of Scandinavia’s most renowned music festival, Pori Jazz. In the course of its long history, Jyrki Kangas has acted as the director of the festival, chairman, and the longest as the artistic director. |
