Nordic Forum provides a meeting place for ideas and people in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Nordic Council of Ministers’ (NCM) Office in Estonia launched this series of popular science seminars in 2003. Through organising these seminars we aim to point out crucial issues in the societies of Nordic countries and Estonia.
Nordic Forum provides a platform for cooperation-oriented discussions for politicians and experts as well as for entrepreneurs and other actors shaping the face of society. Nordic Forum also sees its role in conveying Nordic values and the Nordic welfare system.
The topics discussed so far have covered gender equality, labour migration, regional development in the eyes of local governments, health care, branding of the Baltic Sea Region, etc.
Nordic Forum could not have taken place without efficient assistance from the government and its institutions, local governments, institutions of education and science, NGOs and the private sector.
