Apply for project funding under the Nordic Council of Ministers' NGO programme by 27 April 2012. One of the stipulations is that at least three NGOs must be involved, at least one from a Nordic country, (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland) one from Russia or Belarus and one from Poland or the Baltic states.

Proposals must be relevant to Russia or Belarus, but the programme does not set detailed regulations about the types of project that are eligible for funding. Nor is there any definitive framework for amounts but last year many of the successful applicants received contributions of DKK 400,000-500,000 from the Council of Ministers.

The Nordic Council of Ministers originally launched the NGO programme in 2006 in order to promote partnerships between Nordic, Baltic, Polish, Belarussian and Russian NGOs. Since then, more than 30 projects have received more than DKK 12 million towards projects dealing with the environment, care of children and vulnerable groups and promoting democracy.
