Baltic Development Forum - Summit 2009

Nordic and Baltic high-level politicians, entrepreneurs, diplomates, experts, ect gather to Baltic Development Forum Summit 2009 in Stockholm on 5-6 October.

The Summit will focus on how to stay competitive on the Top of Europe in light of multiple and often interlinked challenges. The Baltic Sea Strategy, foreign politics, business, environment and climate change will be discussed among others. Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, Secretary General Nordic Council of Ministers Halldór Ásgrímsson, Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, Director of Estonian Chamber of Commerce Siim Raie are just some participants.

Under the baton of Kristjan Järvi the Baltic Youth Philharmonic will perform a Concert at the first day of the Summit.
