Energy-Climate-Technology 2009: Solving the energy and climate challenges: Is there a path ahead?

Are we on the way to solving climate and energy challenges? The complex relationship between energy resource use, climate change and technology development is right at the centre of contemporary public debate. At the ECT Conference on September 23-24, 2009 in Bergen, Norway, leading experts will give you an up-to-date and knowledge-based presentation of major issues and policy solutions. Among others there will be debates on the following issues:

• Will the Copenhagen climate negotiations in December succeed in reaching a global climate agreement acceptable to all parties, and how should this be done?

• Is climate change a threat to economic development?
