Put your writing skills to work for you!

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia and of cooperation generally between the Nordic Countries and the Baltic States, we are inviting everyone to pen Nordic-themed articles for the Estonian version of Wikipedia - Vikipeedia.

To make your choice of theme easier, we have come up with five categories. The winner in each category will receive a €1000 travel voucher to the destination of their choice in one of the Nordic countries. Consolation prizes will be awarded for other outstanding contributions.

In order to be eligible for the prizes, you must write or edit an article or articles which meet the requirements of Estonian Wikipedia during April.

The winners will be awarded their prizes on 20 May 2011 at Hopner House on Town Hall Square in Tallinn, which itself will be hosting Nordic Look, an exhibition and sale of leading Nordic design, throughout May.

Find out more about the competition here.

Põhjamaade Ministrite Nõukogu esindus Eestis - 20 aastat Vikipeedia Nordic Look

Põhja- ja Baltimaade koostöö ja Põhjamaade Ministrite Nõukogu Eesti esinduse 20. juubeli tähistamiseks kutsume kõiki eestikeelsesse Vikipeediasse Põhjamaade-teemalisi artikleid kirjutama.

Teemavaliku hõlbustamiseks oleme loonud viis kategooriat. Iga kategooria parimat kirjutajat auhinnatakse 1000 eurose reisivautšeriga vabalt valitud sihtkohta Põhjamaades. Lisaks jagub tublimatele panustajatele mitmeid väiksemaid auhindu.

Auhindadele kandideerimiseks tuleb kirjutada või toimetada nõuetele vastavaid artikleid eestikeelses Vikipeedias (et.wikipedia.org) käesoleva aasta aprillikuu jooksul.
