This conference will focus on cooperation in border areas. Many residents of the Nordic countries live in one country but work in another. This is particularly common in the Öresund region, where as many as 40,000 Swedes travel to Denmark each day to go to work. Living in one country but working in another presents a number of problems, as does simply moving from one country to the other. Representatives of local governments and other experts from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark will be discussing these issues and seeking ways of boosting cooperation. Representatives of the European Commission and the State Chancellery of the Netherlands will also attend the conference.

More detailed information about the conference can be found here (in Swedish).
