The possibilities for implementation of bioenergy in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania

The Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia is inviting everyone to attend the Nordic Forum, which will be dedicated to the climate and bioenergy. The event will be aimed at drawing attention to the use of renewable sources of energy and to cooperation between the Nordic countries and Baltic States in this area.

Halldór Ásgrímsson, Secretary-General of the Nordic Council of Ministers, will be speaking about energy solutions and efficiency in energy consumption in the North. Rurik Holmberg (PhD, Technopolis Group) will be presenting the results of a study into the use of bioenergy and opportunities for cooperation in the Nordic countries and Baltic States. The study was conducted by the Technopolis Group at the request of the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian offices of the Nordic Council of Ministers.

Attendance: free of charge but requires registration as the number of places is limited to 70
