In order to draw the public's attention to COP15, the UN's summit meeting on the climate change in Copenhagen in December, the Nordic Council of Ministers (NCM) is taking part in a variety of projects. One is Nordic Climate Day, which is designed first and foremost to get school kids involved in debates about the climate and the environment.
The NCM has led the development of a website for the event, which can be found here. Before and after Nordic Climate Day kids can exchange thoughts on the site and add their schools to the ‘climate map'. Estonian schools are equally welcome to take part!
The website will continue after 11 November as a portal providing an overview of nature studies, events, projects and more in the Nordic countries.
