Sustainable developmentGreenland is the Nordic region that has been affected the most by climate change and it needs sustainable solutions for the future. Greenland is therefore the obvious place for introduction of the Sustainable Development Strategy 2009-2012 of the Nordic Council of Ministers and the experience of Nordic countries.

The seminar consists of two panel discussions:

1. Sustainable development in the construction and housing, energy and transport sectors
2. The role of NGOs in sustainable development

Greenland will present an overview of its activities and plans at the end of the seminar. Finland, Canada and Bhutan also share their experience.
