Nordic-Baltic NGO partnership programme allocates funding to social cohesion projects

Nine applications had been submitted to the Nordic-Baltic Grant Programme for NGOs by 15 March, five of which were approved for funding to the total value of 320,000 DKK (ca 43,000 EUR).

The NGOs plan to work with the Nordic countries on a range of project activities, including writing articles about men and masculinity today in feminist media (Estonian feminist media channel Feministeerium.ee), passing on best practice in education promoting peace and tolerance to teachers and youth workers (NGO Mondo), developing a regional cooperation plan for investments wielding social influence (Estonian Social Enterprise Network), mediating knowledge related to the integration of refugees (Estonian Refugee Council) and working together for the implementation of a more effective cross-border alcohol policy (Estonian Temperance Union).

The Nordic-Baltic NGO Partnership Programme supports projects implemented in the Nordic countries and Baltic States that bolster civil society and boost social cohesion. Application rounds is held once a year. An application round is not currently open.
