New call for applications is now open – Nordic co-operation projects involving the Baltic Sea Region

On The 2nd of March 2020, the Nordic Council of Ministers opened a new round of applications for the programme for NGO co-operation in the Baltic Sea Region. The aim is to encourage initiatives that will build capacity and strengthen networks through activities such as informing each other of experiences and best practices. Application deadline is April 27th 2020.

NGOs play a prominent role in the Nordic Council of Ministers’ co-operation with countries of the Baltic Sea Region. The NCM grant programme aims to build networks across the region and to focus on the important contribution of civil society organizations in sustainable and inclusive societal development based democratic values.

The overall objective of the programme is to promote co-operation between Nordic, Baltic, Polish, Belarusian and Russian NGOs to underline the key role that NGOs play in building networks and cross-border co-operation in the Baltic Sea Region. The programme has existed since 2006, and NGOs are invited to apply for funding from the programme for international co-operation projects.

The NGO programme has allocated DKK 3.8 million to fund projects in the whole of the Baltic Sea Region, including The Nordic countries, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Poland and Belarus. The deadline for applications is 27th of April 2020 at 23:59:59 CET.
