Nordic-Baltic Energy conference 2021: Energy delivery in the European Green Deal

 EUgreendeal uuendatud

EU Energy Commissioner, Nordic-Baltic top administration and regional energy companies are discussing energy delivery plans in the European Green Deal at the digital event 29th of June.

European Green Deal defined new challenges and direction of policies. Where are the Nordic and Baltic states now? What is the outlook in major policy responses in the energy area towards 2030 and 2050?

The event will provide insight into major and highly policy relevant roadmaps in the European Green Deal in the short topical warm-up sessions featuring among other International Energy Agency (IEA), Wind Energy Europe, Enefit (Eesti Energia), PowerUp Energy Technologies.

The sessions will be followed by a policy discussion with the EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson, Lithuanian minister of Energy Dainius Kreivys, representatives from energy companies Equinor and Ørsted and Estonian and Finnish top energy administration.

This is a very timely discussion as new proposals under the so called "fit for 55 package" are expected from mid-2021.
