Youth of the Baltic and Nordic countries invited to take part in video competition. Deadline prolonged until October 3rd!

If you are 19 or younger, don’t miss the opportunity to take part in video competition “Neighbours in the North: I am Nordic–Baltic!” to be held by the Baltic Assembly and Nordic Council of Ministers’ Offices in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The six best videos will be awarded money prizes from the Baltic Assembly and Nordic Council of Ministers Offices in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. The results will be announced on October 31st.

We all want to be good neighbours. What makes a good neighbour? What is going on around the Baltic Sea in the Nordic and Baltic countries? In order to be good neighbours, we must take action. What will you do? The video competition aims to promote the interest of the Baltic and Nordic youth in neighbourly relations and cooperation in Northern Europe.

To enter the competition, you need to submit a 3-minute-long video with English subtitles. The video can be submitted by an author or a group of authors. Please submit a title for the video as well. It’s up to the author whether to add a description of the idea behind the video, but it shouldn’t exceed 250 words.

Submit your video before 3 October 2016 together with the author’s name, surname, age, address, e-mail and phone number by e-mailing to NBvideocompetition2016@norden.lv. The video must be uploaded to https://files.fm/ or some other file sharing platform in .mp4 format or some other simple video format. See rules and regulations for the competition!
