Results of the Study

A presentation of the results of the study on the domestic violence situation during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Nordic and Baltic countries. It was presented by Kaja Södor from the market research company Turu-uuringute AS and can be viewed here:

 

Regarding the info on the presentation slide 10, we received a correction from the Danish Ministry of Digital Government and Gender Equality about their law:
The law in Denmark states that the police can give a restraining order to a person, limiting the person’s ability to commit further violations. However, it is not possible to give a restraining order if the violent part lives with the victim.

The police can therefore instead expel the perpetrator from their home for up to 4 weeks.
