Meeting with Kristín Ragna Gunnarsdóttir

On Thursday, September 23rd at 16.00-17.00, you can meet the award-winning Icelandic illustrator, writer, curator and teacher Kristín Ragna Gunnarsdóttir at the Estonian Children's Literature Center.

Kristin is the author of the Nordic literature exhibition “Book Flood. Adventure through Nordic stories”. Her daily work is closely connected with Nordic mythology and heroes. She has written and illustrated several myth-inspired children's books and curated interactive action exhibitions on the same subject.

During the meeting Gunnarsdóttir will introduce us to the mysterious world of Icelandic myths and heroes. She will also tell us how to make such ancient material exciting for today's children.

All those interested in Nordic mythology and children's literature are welcome to participate. The meeting will be in English.
