Information day of the Lithuanian Local Government Association

Head of the Tartu branch of the Nordic Council of Ministers (NCM) Madis Kanarbik will introduce the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Public Administration 2009-2013 at the information day of the Lithuanian Local Government Association on 20 January.

The NCM Office in Estonia administers the common grant for officials in Nordic countries and Baltic States. The budget of the grant is about 270,000 euros and it offers financial support to officials in the region, which can be used for study trips, internships, in-service training and creation of cooperation networks. It is important for the undertaking to cover at least three countries, including one Nordic country.

Advisors of theNCM Office in Estonia plan to organise similar information days about the grant in Estonia.
