The Nordic Entrepreneurship Conference in Helsinki

The conference is intended for Nordic growth entrepreneurs and developers, researchers, civil servants and trainers specialising in growth entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. Speeches, thematic panels and other discussions will seek answers and best practices in facing the common challenges of growth entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education.

Main speakers at the Conference include:
- Minister Jyri Häkämies, Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Finland
- Director General Timo Lankinen, Finnish National Board of Education
- Professor Gordon Murray, University of Exeter, UK
- Ms Karen Wilson, Kaufmann Foundation and the OECD
- Policy Officer Simone Baldassarri, DG Enterprise and Industry, European Commission
- Managing Director Cecilia Hertz, Umbilical Design AB, Sweden
- Deputy Director General Anders Hoffmann, Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority, Denmark

Mr Will Cardwell, Head of Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship will act as the Moderator of the Conference.

The Conference is organized by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and the Ministry of Education and Culture, as part of the Finnish Programme for the Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2011.
