Ulla-Lena Lundberg Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia in association with the Finnish Institute and Harju County Library in Keila invite all literary enthusiasts to meet with the renowned and award-winning Finnish-Swedish author Ulla-Lena Lundberg

at Harju County Library in Keila
on Wednesday 13 November at 15:00.

Lundberg has received a number of prestigious literary awards. In 2012 she won the Finlandia prize for her novel Ice, for which she was also nominated for this year's Nordic Council's Literature Prize. In fact, she has been among the nominees for this award an impressive five times.

Ice is soon to be published in Estonian by Eesti Raamat, translated by Tõnis Arnover. Also due for publication as part of the 'Library of Creation' series is Anu Saluäär's translation of Lundberg's Siberia: a Lofty Self-Portrait.

The event is the highlight of this year's Nordic Library week - seven days of exhibitions, readings, book presentations and debates in libraries, schools and community centres in the Nordic countries, Baltic States and North-West Russia. The week of reading pleasure is being held for the 16th time. The theme of this year's event is 'Winter in the Nordic countries'.
