Conference 'Sagas, Legends and Trolls: The Supernatural from Early Modern back to Old Norse Tradition'

The conference aims to facilitate the incorporation of folkloristic material and approaches into Old Norse studies as well as to encourage the use of Scandinavian material from the 1400s through to the 1600s to throw new light on the earlier traditions about supernatural beings, encounters and events in Old Norse literature.

The Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia supports the conference and its' director Berth Sundström will give opening statements.
