VII Nordic Poetry Festival

VII Nordic Poetry Festival took place in Tallinn and in Rakvere, 4-5 May. The festival hosted 16 poets from eight countries who performed at seven venues. The Nordic Poetry Festival is Estonia's as well as the Nordic countries' most long-lived poetry festival in terms of renowned authors, geographical scope and strive for combining poetry with other forms of art.

This year poetry is combined with animation: seven Estonian animators interpret the poems of seven Estonian poets.

Festival has free admission

All in all nearly 100 poets around the Baltic Sea have participated at Nordic Poetry Festivals during 6 years.
