Cultural and creative economy cooperation produces website

Creative Estonia has completed and launched the website www.ndpculture.org to present news and information about the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture. The site was created to more effectively organise the exchange of information between countries within the partnership in the fields of culture and the creative economy. It includes information about major events, potential aid measures and strategies in these fields at the regional and national levels as well as the latest news.

"Launching the website means launching cooperation that will be focussed on the creative economy, the exporting economy and the economy of the future," said Elena Khoroshkina, the senior cultural adviser to the Nordic Council of Ministers. "What we're doing is throwing our support behind organisers of culture within the Northern Dimension as well as small and medium-sized businesses whose ideas could be turned into successful projects in rapidly expanding companies. But we're only just getting started, and there's a long way to go! The secretariat at the Northern Dimension works with all of the partner states, but I'd particularly like to thank Estonia for the instrumental contribution it's made."
