In order to ensure the development of the business environment, to guarantee that new jobs are created while old ones are retained and to avoid extreme jumps in the price of electricity it is important that the countries operating within a region are capable of meeting energy demand using local, green and sustainable capacities, say experts from both Estonia and the Nordic countries. Nevertheless, they stress that everybody needs to contribute by making savings where they can.
